Sebastian Michaelis x Reader - Father
You rested your head on Sebastian's shoulder, your now crimson colored eyes staring lazily around the room. Although demons could not get tired or hungry, you felt very close. Yes, you were a demon but you weren't always like that. You were once a human but one thing led to another and you soon became a demon, forever tied to Sebastian. It had been a couple thousand years since then and you had forgotten the ritual that you had gone through then. But what matters is that you were happy and together forever with Sebastian, your one true love.
Now, my dear reader, you may wonder what happened to Ciel. Nothing bad, fortunately. When Sebastian realized how much he had loved you, he cut off the contract with Ciel, going through a few dealings with the Shinigami to be able to. Ciel lived a natural life, got married to Elizabeth, had a few children and lived a happy life. Of course, seeing them go was painful for the both of you (even if Sebastian would never admit it) but you were glad to have served under the two of them. Sebastian stayed loyally by Ciel while you decided to serve under Elizabeth. You and your favorite demon butler had stayed at the Phantomhive mansion until Elizabeth and Ciel had passed. The ownership of the mansion was passed on to Ciel and Elizabeth's children - Alice and Charles. You and Sebastian had moved out, settling in another mansion farther out in the country-side where you were sure not to be bothered. But you were soon shaken out of your thoughts by your soul mate's deep yet soothing voice.
"(Your Name). Are you quite alright, you seem a bit... off-kilter."
"Yes Sebastian. I am, just reminiscing about the past, that's all."
The demon let out a deep-throated chuckle and he gave you an amused expression. Earning a playful scowl from you and yet another laugh from Sebastian.
"Why are you laughing at me? Is it bad that I like to think about the past?"
"No no. Of course not (Your Name). I just wonder why you still call me Sebastian. It is not my real name, as you are well aware."
"I know, but I've gotten used to calling you that. Or would you rather have me call you Bassy?"
The demon's eyebrow twitched at the nickname, even if the Shinigami's had helped them neutralize the contract so that Sebastian, you, Ciel, and Elizabeth could have happy lives, Sebastian still hated that damn red-headed reaper with an unhealthy passion.
"I would prefer that you didn't."
"Oh? Is Bassy uncomfortable?"
"(Your Name), don't toy with me."
"I might have to punish you~"
At his words you immediately stopped. Last time he had said that, he followed through with his threat. And now the fruits of his effort was upstairs, sleeping in her crib. Contrary to common belief, demon children are able to sleep a bit as they grow up incredibly fast and therefore require occasional naps or a good night's sleep. And speak of the devil (quite literally), there was a loud bawling sound coming from upstairs. Before you could get up however, Sebastian had already taken charge and gone upstairs.
In a few moments, the bawling stopped, instead it was replaced by a soft, deep voice saying soothing words. Curious, you slowly climbed the stairs and opened the door to your child's room to be greeted with the cutest sight known to human and demon kind alike. Sebastian was holding the small black-haired, red-eyed girl to his chest and cradling her. It looked so out of place that you almost burst out laughing, you tried to cover it up but a few snickers slipped out, quickly alerting Sebastian of your presence. He gave you a quick smile and lay Aspen down in the crib before turning to you.
"How do you manage to quiet her down so quickly?"
Sebastian gave you a smirk.
"Well, you see (Your Name), I am simply one hell of a father."
The demon wrapped an arm around your waist, pulling you against his chest. He nuzzled the top of your head, much like the cats he loves so much. You let a small smile grace your features. Yes, he is one hell of a butler, one hell of a father, and one hell of a lover. And you wouldn't have it any other way.
