- How This Mess Started -
"ENOUGH! I WILL NOT BE TAKEN ANYWHERE BY ANYONE! I AM MY OWN PERSON! SINCE YOU CAN'T BE MATURE ABOUT THIS, WHY DON'T YOU ACT LIKE THE CHILDREN THAT YOU ARE AND SETTLE IT WITH ROCK, PAPER, SCISSORS!?"
The countries looked at you in surprise before sighing and nodding, they formed a circle around the meeting room.
"ROCK! PAPER! SCISSORS! SHOOT!"
Soon, there were only three left. Prussia, Austria, and Switzerland. They faced each other, and didn't say a word. Not even "THE GREAT AND AWESOME PRUSSIA". After a few moments of stifling silence, you yawned, but as soon as you closed your eyes, you heard a disappointed sigh from Austria and some angry mutters from Switzerland.
"NO FAIR! HOW COME ZHE CHEAPSKATE SWISS GETS TO TAKE HER OUT!? I'M WAY MORE AWESOME! I SHOULD BE ZHE ONE TO TA-"
A hand was slapped over Prussia's mouth as Germany dragged him out. Murmuring things that made Prussia's eyes widened. The albino ripped his brother's hand off his mouth and yelled.
"MY BRUDER HAS FEELINGS! HE'S NOT AN EMOTIONLESS SHELL OF A PERSON! ZHE GERMAN COUNTRY HAS FEELINGS!"
"SHUT UP PRUSSIA! GOTTVERDAMMT!"
With that, the two German brothers went out of the room. You looked at Austria who gave a nonchalant shrug and pointed at Switzerland.
He waved at you and you waved back shyly. He smiled slightly before grabbing your hand (a bit awkwardly) and walking towards the door with you in tow while looking over his shoulder at Liechtenstein who flashed him a thumbs up before seating herself in one of the many chairs.
Switzerland smirked and led you out of the meeting room, however, you looked behind yourself at the slowly retreating meeting room. You shot Switzerland a worried look and furrowed your brows.
"Switzerland? Is it okay for us to just leave the meeting like that?"
"Yeah. I'm pretty sure it is. It's not like they'll get anything done without Germany there. Oh, and call me Vash."
You considered the possibilities of getting anything done with or without Germany there and decided that leaving would be more favorable and less stressful.
You looked up at him with your sparkling (e/c) orbs and nodded, giving him an adorable smiled. The Swiss blushed heavily and looked away, trying to hide his pinkish face. Since you weren't Japan, you didn't seem to sense the mood anyhow.
"_____. We're here."
"I SWEAR THE BEER IS UNDER THE ELEPHANT!"
You woke up with a jerk and frantically looked around, realizing you were in Switzerland's car. He gave you a strange look and you blushed, that was embarrassing...
"Okay then... We're here..."
He gestured behind him at the extravagant restaurant and climbed out of the car, going around to the other side and opening the door. Grasping your hand, he pulled you out of the car in the direction of the restaurant.
You stood by quietly while Switzerland conversed with the man at the front desk in rapid Romanch.
While he was talking, you started looking around at the interior of the building. It was beautiful, the lights were slightly dimmed and candles were placed around the room and on the tables. The seats were made of plush velvet and there were "rooms" along the wall, being separated from the rest of the tables and visitors by large red curtains. Everyone there was wearing billowing dresses or fancy suits, you felt out of place with your (f/c) army uniform and combat boots.
Sighing, you closed your eyes for a brief second. But as soon as you did, the Swiss man came over to you and smiled.
"I got us a table, would you like to go inside, or would you prefer to stay here?"
You chuckled at his smirk and got to your feet, he led you to a secluded table near the corner of the room. As you sat down, the velvet tablecloth brushed against your hand and you looked at Switzerland with worry flashing in your eyes. Unfortunately, it didn't go unnoticed.
"_____? Are you alright?"
"I was about to ask you the same thing Vash."
"Well... Most people say that you're kind of..."
"Yes... I'm sorry, I don't mean to be rude, but... This place seems a bit extravagant..."
"What, I can't give a beautiful girl a special treat?"
You blushed profusely and looked off to the side. The Swiss man smiled slightly and opened up the menu. You did the same and the rest of the dinner was spent in a comfortable silence.
You climbed out of the car and yawned. All you had done was go to dinner, but nonetheless, you were still EXHAUSTED.
Switzerland stepped out of the car and shut the door. He had driven you to your home, seeing how tired you were (paying no attention to your protests).
He gently grabbed your hand, pulling you against him and smiling down at you affectionately. You had never seen him smile, much less like this.
"I'll see you again, right?"
"How does next Saturday sound?"
His smile grew a bit wider and his lips ghosted over yours before he pulled away. You stood in shock as he waved a hand at you, climbed into his car and drove away.
You stumbled into your house and collapsed on your bed. Wait a minute... What just happened again? Switzerland kissed you right? Switzerland... Kissed you...
Your eyes widened and you grabbed a pillow, squealing into it and rolled around on your bed, like a certain empire that had gone missing many years before (Hint:HRE).
Switzerland walked into his house, he was on cloud nine. This feeling was new to him and he couldn't stop smiling.
As he came in, Liechtenstein saw the stupid smile on his face and giggled.
"Hello Vash, the date went well, yes?"
He nodded dreamily and walked up the stairs of his home and into his room. He climbed into the bed without changing and fell asleep into a peaceful, dreamless sleep.
Liechtenstein giggled and went back to her book. It was good that Switzerland had finally gotten a date. She was afraid that his attitude was going to push everyone away and he would end up forever alone. She would have been okay if he was going out with a guy, too.
But she would never tell him that.
